The favourite One Track Mind has easily the best hurdles rating coming into this contest. Consequently, one can understand how he has opened up at odds of around 6/4. I think he deserves to be ahead of today’s rivals on what he has achieved over the smaller obstacles; however, I am far from sure he should be as clear as the official handicapper suggests. If the runner up Jennies Jewel had been used as the guide from his latest start at Punchestown then One Track Mind would have barely gone up from his 147 rating going into that contest.
