Buveur D’Air 13th March 2018 – Cheltenham – This was much harder work than looked likely prior to the race. He was going well two out but not as well as Melon the eventual runner up. Given the proximity of the second and third horses one would have to conclude that this division is up for grabs in 2019. His time from four out to the line was about a second quicker compared with Summerville Boy; however, that horse matched him from the first hurdle to the line despite losing many lengths with mistakes at the last two hurdles.
