Tombstone 18th February 2017 – Gowran Park – He was ridden prominently and found more than the favourite when asked for extra on the run in. There was no fluke about this success though quite what he achieved is difficult to gauge. The proximity of the third horse home adds further suspicion to the quality of this form. The favourite had been out for a long time prior to his previous run. Jezki was also best on a sound surface in his prime.
