3rd February 2017 As mentioned in the Arkle update I now think that Nicky Henderson is leaning more towards the Champion Chase with Altior if anything happens to Douvan. I would be surprised if he lined up against Douvan; however, a spectacular performance from Douvan on Sunday would hopefully reduce the chances of that happening further. If it all goes wrong for Douvan on Sunday I feel it would increase the chances of Altior switching races to go for the Champion Chase rather than the Arkle.
