Footpad 27th December 2018 – Leopardstown – I see he has retained his position as second favourite in the Champion Chase market after this defeat. I suspect it is more a case of something has to be next in the betting to the obvious runaway winner Altior. Unless his connections find something amiss with him when he gets home then this performance would strongly suggest that he has an awful lot to find to finish in the places in an average Champion Chase.
