It is hard to know what to make of Cue Card’s performance last time out in the Charlie Hall Chase. On the one hand horses that improve for a breathing operation do not tend to maintain that improvement indefinitely. On the other it is far too early to put a significant question mark against Cue Card's name on the strength of that disappointing run.
