Buveur D’Air 2nd February 2019 – Sandown – This was never a race where he was going to look impressive. He did everything that was required to beat a good class rival with plenty to spare at the line. It is also possible that the runner up put up an improved display in this first race since wind surgery. He heads for the Champion Hurdle next with an extremely strong chance of finishing in the first two places.
