Defi Du Seuil 18th January 2020 – Ascot – The runner up had plenty in his favour; consequently, if the Mullins horse ran to his form then this would probably be a career best effort from this new and deserved favourite for the Champion Chase. He took up the running just after the second last fence and had the last fence to keep him focussed – followed by a relatively short run in and one where his jockey did not have to go after him – such was his lead.
