The only concerns I held with Special Tiara before his latest start were all ground related. He is a much better horse when competing on a sound surface and the soft ground at Cheltenham in November severely reduced his claims of winning the Grade Two Shloer Chase. There is little strength in depth in the Champion Chase division and Special Tiara should be in the first four or five in the betting on the day.
