DIARY NOTES SERVICE

ANDY GIBSON

The Diary Notes Service consists of extensive notes on over 1000 national hunt horses provided via an email message service and weekly import files compatible with the Proform software. Please note, the service is accessible independently and customers do not need to be subscribers to Proform Racing.

This service covers every Friday and Saturday from the first day of the Paddy Power meeting until the Cheltenham Gold Cup. It also includes other important race days throughout the season i.e. the Sunday of the Paddy Power meeting, the Thursday of the Newbury Hennessy meeting, the important Sunday meetings at Leopardstown plus all four days of the Cheltenham Festival. The emails are sent the night before racing containing all ‘diary notes’ for horses engaged the following day in PDF and Word document formats.

When does it start?

The service starts for the Paddy Power meeting in the middle of November and runs for 4 months concluding on Cheltenham Gold Cup Day.

How many people will be allowed on the service?

  • The numbers are restricted to 75 places on a first come first serve basis. This restriction is obviously important to achieve and maintain value in the betting markets for subscribers.
  • In our first season, we restricted numbers to 30 places for the Diary Notes Service to test the impact on betting markets.  We only sent out one marketing email and sold all places in 3 and half hours! Therefore, we extended the numbers to 50 places on a first come first serve basis. We were over-subscribed last season and so have decided to increase availability by 50% for the coming season.
