Altior 11th February 2017 – Newbury – I thought he was a bit keener under NDB than he had been under Noel Fehily. I am not sure if I would come to any conclusions about that as it could just be due to this being the first time NDB has sat on him in a chase. That said this was a simply incredible performance. He will clearly win the Arkle by a long way (assuming he lines up) providing he jumps well – and his jumping is generally brilliant.
