Native River 16th March 2018 – Cheltenham – Along with the runner up he was in the first two for the entire race and led for most of it. The recent rain played into his hands and he won this with a powerful staying performance jumping absolutely brilliantly along the way. The runner up probably just failed to get home; however, this was as much to do with the winner’s tenacity as any frailty in the Henderson horse.
