Frodon 26th January 2019 – Cheltenham – He jumped well enough out in front though perhaps slightly less sharp than on one or two previous occasions. He really kicked on down the hill and just about lasted home in the end. Paul Nicholls stated pre-race that he was worried that he had left too much to work on after his horse had enjoyed a short break; consequently it is also possible that he tied up close to the finish due to lack of fitness rather than through stamina limitations.
