RED RUM HANDICAP CHASE GRADE 3 – REVIEW

Moon Over Germany

4th April 2019 – Aintree – He led before the fourth fence and then made the running thereafter. The front was the place to be as the first two home were in the first four throughout. He has been given no chance in three of his four chases previously so he might well remain extremely well in after today.

Lady Buttons

4th April 2019 – Aintree – She travelled beautifully throughout just behind the leaders. She lost nothing whatsoever in defeat as she probably just bumped into one here. If she remains in training she could still win a big prize next season over hurdles or fences. She is a most reliable proposition.

Champagne At Tara

4th April 2019 – Aintree – He can be marked up as being the only horse to come from well off the pace to challenge the front two. He has probably been beaten by two very well handicapped horses and, whilst he is not the most reliable horse in training, a reproduction of this performance would be good enough against most horses in his grade.

Brelin D’As

4th April 2019 – Aintree – He was hampered at the first fence but I strongly doubt it made any difference.

Whatswrongwithyou

4th April 2019 – Aintree – He gave himself no chance by continually jumping out to the right.

Cracking Find

4th April 2019 – Aintree – His jockey was far too keen to get him to the front and as a consequence he came down at the first fence.
