Copperhead 15th February 2020 – Ascot – On the one hand there appears to be little substance to this form given that the first two favourites ran no race resulting in, in effect, a three runner chase. On the other hand the winner was very pleasing to the eye as he jumped and travelled well throughout. Ballyoptic was around three seconds quicker than Copperhead from the first fence to the seventh.
