CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL 14th MARCH 2019 Footpad has only very recently been confirmed as a definite starter in the Ryanair Chase. Although he is the favourite; there are still three or four contenders that could just as easily head the market come Thursday afternoon. The big negative with Footpad is that he is yet to compete over further than two miles in his seven chases to date. His third place finish in the Stayers Hurdle at Punchestown in late April 2017 offers plenty of encouragement as to his chances of staying this intermediate trip.
