Cue Card 26th December 2016 – Kempton – He was going too quick for his own good on ground that was faster than ideal. This effort may have been of the same sort of level as his apparently disappointing run in the Charlie Hall Chase. He is simply not quick enough for good fast ground and the post-race talk of him being redirected to the Ryanair Chase is interesting.
