I suspect that A Plus Tard’s last time out success against Chacun Pour Soir is one of the main reasons he is trading so short for the Ryanair Chase. The other obvious reason is the impressive style of his success at the 2019 Cheltenham Festival. He was competing on the old course of a mark of 144 on that occasion and will face a different challenge here and will also need to improve significantly on his 2019 performance.
