I was really surprised to see how well Cole Harden performed on unsuitably soft ground in the Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham in late January. He has never really liked testing ground and ran remarkably well all things considered. He was the only one of the first four home to stick to the inside rail which is usually a disadvantage at Cheltenham on a softer surface.
