This Grade 2 contest is an interesting race for our opening preview for the 2016/2017 Cheltenham Trail. I was impressed with the Nicky Henderson trained Baden in his three races last season. I felt he was seriously disadvantaged by taking the unfavoured inside route in both his races at Cheltenham and have marked him up as a result. Whatever he achieves today he is clearly another highly regarded novice hurdler to keep an eye on from the Seven Barrows yard.
