In sharp contrast to the Supreme Hurdle, the Arkle Chase looks like an incredibly strong renewal. With three horses topping the market with ratings of 164, 163 and 160, it is going to take a very high-class performance to even finish in third place. Captain Guinness is next in the betting and yet is the joint seventh highest-rated chaser amongst the early declarations.
