Native River 26th December 2018 – Kempton – He was having to be ridden to keep up for most of the race and did extremely well to stay on for third place. At the same time his third place finish said as much about the performances of one or two of his rivals. Politologue did not stay and Might Bite ran well below form for the second race in a row.
