Lake View Lad 5th December 2020 – Aintree – After blundering badly at the eighth fence his outside chance seemed to have gone. Nevertheless, he was clearly travelling best for much of the home straight and may have been helped by the omitted fences. On the balance of his form he would not be the obvious selection should the front three meet again further into the season.
