Dashel Drasher 20th February 2021 – Ascot – I suspect he nearly got caught after the last through idling rather than through tiring. He eventually ran out a most convincing winner from a horse that is probably best when he can win without battling. He was comfortably the best horse on the day and has now completed the hat-trick over this course and distance. It will be fascinating to see if he can repeat the level of this performance elsewhere.
