Remastered 20th February 2021 – Ascot – His best form has been when competing on much softer ground. I still would suggest that the drying conditions were even more against the runner up than him. As is often the case at Ascot it was probably an advantage to be left alone to make the running. On the surface this was as poor a renewal of this Grade Two Chase as I can ever remember.
